I have been reading more about husbands and wives because Saya and Oyrou did not want to be husbands. I want to call them something that will make them happy. That is why you are the only beau. When you have brushed all the books please teach me more.
i'm gonna be honest with you hun at this point i'd be happy to be your husband too. only reason i haven't said that yet is cause being a husband means something REAL different to me than it does to, say oryou it's one of those things yknow where you pick out one real special person just one and say to the world "hey this is the best person i know out of everyone and everything and i'm keeping them forever"

The reason why's obvious just as he walks up the front path - He bought a little bouquet on the way back home, all done up in purple. Seeing Nen waiting at the doorstep, he waves with his free hand and a big, stupid grin on his screen.
Not gonna bother saying anything in greeting - he feels just this is enough, especially since he can just sense a hug coming from a mile away.]
[ It will in fact be The Most Powerful hug Nen has ever given him, by which I mean when they see him? And that bouquet of flowers? Their eyes go round (Nen!shock). They push themself up, jog right over (Nen!running) and throw their arms around his chest (Nen!tackling), and plant their chin right on his chest so they can look up at him with The Biggest eyes (Nen!love!!!!). ]
[Chipp lets out a little "oof" that's more theatrical than sincere when they thud against his chest, and he's quick to wrap his arms around them in turn - though, obviously holding the bouquet up and away so he doesn't get it in their hair or anything.]

[Here, give him a moment - He's gonna follow that by lifting his helmet (magically), just so he can plant a little peck on their forehead.]
[ Nen's eyes blink shut for the kiss, but when they open again? Nen looks even more besotted than before. They'll push themself up onto their tippy-toes just to give his chin a smooch back. ]

[Here, he pulls back purely so he can offer the bouquet to them properly. It's small, just a bundle of lavender, lilacs, and violets tied together with a little purple bow.]
Gotta admit, I just asked'em for somethin' in purple, but I thought these looked cute enough for ya. I may not know shit about flowers, but I like to think I know you well enough.
Purple was an excellent colour for flowers. They are beautiful.
[ The bouquet even smells nice thansk to the addition of lavender. Nen hasn't taken a whiff of it yet, but already they can smell it. Also, they're going to stay on their tip-toes to give him another smooch. ]

The best he's got spreads on his face hearing that, something soft and warm despite his inability, and he squeezes their hands.]

But I'll also admit, I do kinda like bein' your beau, too. Makes me feel special. Got tons of folks you'd call a "husband", but only I get to be your beau.
